There was a major contrast between Kansas City Chiefs tight ends Tony Moeaki and Jake O'Connell during this weekend's minicamp.
According to the Kansas City Star, Moeaki, a third-round draft pick from Iowa, has caught the football well and has created separation with impressive showings during offseason practices.
That continued Saturday.
A team source echoed that sentiment, telling National Football Post that Moeaki lined up with the first-team offense and didn't drop a pass.
As for O'Connell, who was drafted last year, he could have an issue making the team.
O'Connell dropped so many passes that it prompted this comment from offensive coordinator Charlie Weis: “That’s getting old, Jake.”
