San Diego Chargers defensive lineman Travis Johnson signed his first-round restricted tender, a one-year contract worth $1.226 million.
The former Houston Texans first-round draft pick was acquired via a trade last August.
Last season, he recorded 16 tackles in 13 games for the Chargers.
Johnson was drafted 16th overall out of Florida State in 2005.
Four Chargers restricted free agents remain unsigned: wide receivers Vincent Jackson and Malcom Floyd, offensive tackle Marcus McNeill and linebacker Shawne Merriman.
