Former Heisman winner slated to play four quarters Aaron Wilson
ST. LOUIS -- Baltimore Ravens third quarterback Troy Smith, the former Heisman Trophy winner from Ohio State, will start tonight against the St. Louis Rams and is slated to play the entire four quarters.
He's fighting for a roster spot after being supplanted as the backup to starter Joe Flacco by two-time Pro Bowl selection Marc Bulger, a former Rams starter signed to a $3.8 million contract this summer.
Smith will have Demetrius Williams and Marcus Smith to throw to as his starters.
Meanwhile, Ravens offensive tackles Oniel Cousins (concussion) and Jared Gaither (thoracic disc conditin) aren't dressed out and are sidelined again.
The Ravens are expected to rest the majority of their starters. The Rams are going to play their starters for roughly 15 snaps.
