Veteran kicker Lawrence Tynes of the Tampa Bay Bucs could be in for a fairly long fight as he tries to recover from a MRSA staph infection.

His wife, Amanda, has taken to Twitter to let people know that her husband is not "responding well" to treatments, contrary to some reports that apparently indicated he was making strides.

Amanda Tynes also thanked people for their well wishes and said that she believes her husband finally has the right people in his corner as he fights the illness.
