Ravens rookie taken off non-football injury list. Terry McCormick
Rookie linebacker Courtney Upshaw had a short stay on the Baltimore Ravens' non-football injury list.
Upshaw was placed there when he didn't pass his conditioning test on the first try. However, on his second attempt, the former Alabama star passed the test and was restored to the Ravens' active training camp roster, according to Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times.
The Ravens are counting on Upshaw to help offset the loss of Terrell Suggs, who is on the NFI list with an Achilles injury.
