Show will begin airing next month Brad Biggs
Maybe the fortunes of the Dallas Cowboys’ season will be turned around by the time this show hits the air.
Otherwise, you can expect to see some tense moments in the behind-the-scenes lives of some involved in “Football Wives,” a reality show that will debut on VH1 beginning next month.
The show is based around women who are mostly connected with the Cowboys. Included in the show, according to various reports, are Amanda Davis, the wife of guard Leonard Davis, Eric McBriar, wife of punter Mat McBriar, Brittany Pigrenet, girlfriend of kicker David Buehler, and Mercedes Nelson, an ex-girlfriend of running back Marion Barber. Also featured will be Deion Sanders’ wife Pilar Sanders, Chanita Foster, wife of UFL veteran George Foster, Melani Ismail, wife of former Cowboy Rocket Ismail, and Dawn Neufeld, who is married to UFL veteran Ryan Neufeld.
“Football Wives” will debut on Oct. 24. By then, the Cowboys will be back in the race in the NFC East or Jerry Jones will be plotting the hire of his next coach. Buehler is going to need to kick better to still be around in a month too. Just guessing the language will be a little more refined then what you heard on "Hard Knocks." But will there be any real drama? Don’t say we didn’t advise you to set your DVR’s. This Web site has some photos of the women involved.
