Four days after Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice and his fiancée, Janay Palmer, were arrested following a fight at an Atlantic City casino, video has emerged that paints a very disturbing picture.
TMZ.com has obtained footage of Rice dragging an apparently unconscious Palmer out of an elevator at the Revel Casino early Saturday morning. Per TMZ, the video footage occurs mere moments after police say Rice and his fiancée attacked each other on the property.
The 27-year-old Rice and 26-year-old Palmer were both charged with simple assault-domestic violence and released following their early-morning trip to the police station. Andrew Alperstein—Rice’s attorney—described the allegations to the Baltimore Sun as a “very minor physical altercation.”
The six-year veteran out of Rutgers is coming off the most disappointing season of his career, which featured just 660 rushing yards and four touchdowns in 15 starts.
