The representative for financial advisor Ron Peoples, one of two defendants in a lawsuit filed by Buffalo Bills quarterback Vince Young, told the Associated Press, that the claim he defrauded VY out of millons of dollars is “hollow” and “without merit.”
Attorney David Chaumette said his client has done nothing wrong and will be exonerated from the claim. Young filed the lawsuit against Peoples and the quarterback's former agent, Major Adams, claiming Peoples' firm misappropriated at least $5.5 million from Young between 206 and 2011.
Young signed a six-year, $58 million deal with the Tennessee Titans after being the third pick overall in the 2006 NFL Draft.
