JaMarcus Russell apparently isn't the only out-of-work quarterback on the comeback trail.
According to Stewart Mandel of Sports Illustrated, Vince Young wll work out at the University of Texas pro day.
Young, of course, was the third overall pick in the 2006 draft by the Tennessee Titans. He was the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year that year, but eventually washed out due to inconsistent play and immaturity. VY spent 2011 as a backup for the Philadelphia Eagles and his only impact that year was to label them the "Dream Team," a moniker that proved to be an albatross for an underachieving squad.
He signed with Buffalo but was released and most recently was in the news for defaulting on a lockout loan.
Young knows that his chances are running out, so like Russell, he is making another grasp at getting into football. It will be interesting to see if either can overcome the considerable baggage of the past to find their way into an NFL camp.
