Defendant Willie Clark has been found guilty for the 2007 murder. Joe Fortenbaugh
The jury in the Darrent Williams murder trial has reached a verdict after more than 12 hours of deliberations spread over three days.
26-year-old defendant Willie Clark has been found guilty of murder and attempted murder, according to Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post.
Williams—who played cornerback for the Denver Broncos in 2005 and 2006—was gunned down while he was sitting in a limo outside of a Denver nightclub on New Year’s Day in 2007.
Clark pulled up in an SUV next to the limo and fired shots into the car, killing Williams and wounding two others.
According to prosecutors, Clark was angry about an altercation that had taken place earlier that night inside of the nightclub between his group and Williams’ group.
Williams was only 24-years-old.

willie,
thanks for pointing that out. i appreciate it.

I hope this gives Brandon Marshall at least some peace and closure, as well as Darrent Williams' family.
This would be a dumb move. They should target Westbrook. More of a competitor, great 3rd down back who can catch, etc. I do NOT like LT wearing green. He's no better than TJ. In fact, he might be worse at this point. Get Westbrook!
