San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis has already lost $200,000 in workout bonuses by staying away from team workouts.
He has no plans to lose another $70,000 through a fine by skipping a mandatory minicamp.
"You know what? I plan on being there," Davis told KGMZ-FM. "I plan on being there."
Davis wants a new contract.
"Everything is all cool between me and the Niners," Davis said. "In life, you have to make business decisions, right? The 49ers are always making business decisions, and I'm a business man and I'm an entrepreneur."
