Busy times for our own Very Fake Al Davis. Luckily, he’s been keeping up with us via the miracle of Twitter. Here’s what he’s had to say of late:

“The Phillies don't need Roy Halladay -- they've already got Jim Bunning.”

“If you had to build a team around one guy, who would it be: DHB or Matlock?”

“Goodell just said playing in the NFL is a privilege, not a right, which is what my dad used to say about fingers”

Al Davis.

“Now the Moneyball movie is in turnaround, maybe Pitt will read my script for ‘The James Jett Story.’ He can play me, Jett, or the genie.”

“People say I was wrong to give defective fireworks to orphans. I say, it's time they learn life isn't one big party.”

“Sad about Walter Cronkite...you hate to see 'em go young”

“Kiffin gave a scholarship to a 13-year-old. What's worse, he only runs a 4.5”

“Whoa, whoa, slow down: Charles Lindbergh had a baby?”

“I feel for Romo -- this is just like the time I broke off my affair with Mary Todd Lincoln.”

“Why is it that whenever I use my time machine, people say, ‘Remember not to bring back Jack The Ripper.’ Will that 1 mistake haunt me forever?”

“Going to see ‘Public Enemies’...I love movies about current events.”

“Watching ‘Jon & Kate Plus Eight’ makes me nostalgic for my childhood on the supercontinent Pangaea.”

I read that drivel. Now I am in a quandary: am I stupid for reading that pap or are you stupid for wasting your time. I have to admit that we both are. But you wasted more time and displayed a definite lack of writing and comedic skills.
