Chris Kluwe peeved with settlement efforts on lawsuit Brad Biggs
As Logan Mankins and Vincent Jackson seek free agency or a cash settlement as their part of the Tom Brady lawsuit vs. the NFL, there is a sentiment of players who don’t appreciate the cash grab – or attempted cash grab.
The efforts Mankins, Jackson and perhaps others are making are detailed here, and it might not go over well with the rank and file in the league.
In fact, it didn’t take long for one player to pipe up. Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe has chimed in on his personal Twitter account.
“Sigh, and once again greed is the operative byword. Congrats Brees, Manning, Mankins, and Jackson for being 'that guy'. #douchebags,” Kluwe wrote.
We’ll see what direction this thing heads. The lawsuit needs to be settled before a collective bargaining agreement is reached. Or dropped. Something makes us think Kluwe would like to see it dropped.
