Minnesota Vikings cornerback Chris Cook is in the Hennepin County Jail after he was arrested in the early morning hours, accused of domestic assault.

The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports Cook was booked into the jail at 4:06 a.m. Saturday, making his availability for Sunday’s game at the Metrodome against the Green Bay Packers very much up in the air. In fact, it’s doubtful for Cook and that’s a problem for the team with veteran Antoine Winfield injured. Cook has been charged with domestic assault as well as misdemeanor domestic assault-intentionally inflicts/attempts to inflict bodily harm on another.

“The Minnesota Vikings are aware of the incident involving Chris Cook,” the team said in a statement. “We take this matter very seriously and are still gathering all the details of the incident.”

Cook is being held without bail and has a court appearance scheduled for Monday. Unless the bail changes, it’s going to be hard for him to trade a jail uniform for a football uniform in about 24 hours.

Here is his jail record.
