Vikings DT Kevin Williams ruled out

Vikings coach Leslie Frazier announced that veteran defensive tackle Kevin Williams will not play this Sunday against the Lions.

Williams is stealing with a hyperextended knee suffered in the preseason agaisnt San Francisco, when 49ers guard Joe Looney cut him below the waist.

With Williams scratched, the Vikings will likely turn to rookie defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd to start.
