The Minneosta Vikings were awarded cornerback Julian Posey off waivers from the Cleveland Browns.

They cut cornerback Kip Edwards.

Posey played in five games with one start last year for the Browns. He registered six tackles, one sack.

Posey has previously played for the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins.

Edwards spent time last season on the Vikings' practice squad before being signed to a reserve-future deal this offseason.
