The Minnesota Vikings placed rookie fullback Zach Line on injured reserve today with a knee injury.

Line is an undrafted free agent from Southern Methodist.

The Vikings needed a roster spot as they get back Pro Bowl fullback Jerome Felton from suspension.

Felton was suspended for the first three games for violating the NFL substance-abuse policy.
