Denver Broncos star linebacker Von Miller has a bad sense of timing.
One day prior to his appearl of a four-game suspension under the NFL substance-abuse policy, Miller is now in the news again.
He was arrested Sunday for failing to appear in court on charges of careless driving, driving without a license, and no proof of insurance from a case stemming from a traffic stop last October, according to The Denver Channel. Miller was booked, processed and freed on $1,000 bail.
The Broncos issued a statement about Miller's legal predicament: “We have been aware of the matter involving Von Miller’s failure to appear in court for traffic violations. It was reported to the league earlier this week and is being handled through the legal system.”
Obviously, this isn't what the Broncos expect from one of their top players or any of their players for that matter.
Miller has many things to clean up, and this doesn't bode well for the appeal of his suspension.
