Vontaze Burfict fined $21,000

Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict was fined $21,000 by the league office for leading with the crown of his helmet during his hit on New York Jets wide receiver Stephen Hill.

It's his fifth personal foul of the season.

Meanwhile, New York wide receiver David Nelson was fined $7,875 for unnecessary roughness for his confrontation with Bengals cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones.

Denver Broncos linebacker Wesley Woodyard and Atlanta Falcons players Osi Umenyiora and William Moore were all fined $15,750 for roughing the passer.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate was fined $7,875 for taunting for his unsportsmanlike penalty in a win over the St. Louis Rams. During Tate's 80-yard catch, he waved at safety Rodney McLeod while running into the end zone.
