Seahawks cornerback Walter Thurmond will be suspended for four games for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy, according to NFL.com.
The suspension is expected to begin this week.
Thurmond has filled in for injured cornerback Brandon Browner and has 31 tackles this season.
