Watt chosen as NFL Defensive Player of the Year
Texans defensive end just one vote from unanimous selection. Terry McCormick
Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt has been selected as the NFL Defensive Player of the Year by the Associated Press.
Watt missed by one vote being a unanimous choice, with the lone dissenting vote going to Von Miller, per NFL.com.
Watt had a stellar season with 20.5 sacks, 23 tackles for losses and 16 passes defense.
