Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt has been selected as the NFL Defensive Player of the Year by the Associated Press.
Watt missed by one vote being a unanimous choice, with the lone dissenting vote going to Von Miller, per NFL.com.
Watt had a stellar season with 20.5 sacks, 23 tackles for losses and 16 passes defense.
