Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden said Thursday he is heading back to his home state of Oklahoma to assist in any way possible with the relief efforts from the tornadoes that devastated the area this week.
Weeden, who played at Oklahoma State, is from Edmond, Okla., and his wife, Melanie, has family in Moore, Okla., where some of the worst of the damage took place.
According to the Associated Press, Weeden said he called Oklahoma Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb and pledged to "do anything, whether it's getting in the rubble and doing whatever, it doesn't matter, I'll be there to help."
