Here’s a little appetizer for those of you who can’t make it until 7:00pm eastern tonight.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell appeared on ESPN radio’s “Mike and Mike” this morning and said that all Week 17 games this season will match division rivals against one another.
This is a great move by the league as Week 17 could act as a “play-in” game between rivals in any division that has yet to determine a champion.
Remember, Philly and Dallas met in Week 17 for the NFC East crown last season, with the Eagles having a chance to claim a first-round bye with a win. Instead, the Birds lost and had to travel to Dallas the following week for the wildcard round of the playoffs, which they also lost.
And remember, the full NFL regular season schedule will be announced Tuesday night at 7:00pm eastern.
