As he continues to recover from a torn anterior cruciate ligament, New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker displayed some encouraging signs today during an organized team activity.
According to the Boston Globe, Welker was dressed out in uniform and wore a brace.
Per the report, Welker looked "swift and agile" cutting in a cone drill.
He also ran pass routes, but rounded off his cuts and had a few drops.
Although Welker's not ready to play football yet and he's still expected to begin training camp on the physically unable to perform list, it sounds like you can file this under the signficant progress category.
