The Denver Broncos will be without receiver Wes Welker this Thursday against the Chargers, the team announced.
With the quick turnaround, it was never expected for Welker to be ready to play.
Welker sustained a concussion in this past Sunday's win over the Titans after taking a hit to the neck and head area from safety George Wilson.
With Welker out, the Broncos still have plenty of receiving options available. Peyton Manning will still have Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker and Julius Thomas to throw the ball to.
