Wes Welker returned to practice after team doctors cleared him following his concussion during Sunday's win over Kansas City, reports the Denver Post.
However, he still has to be cleared by an independent neurologist to be able to play against New England this Sunday night.
Welker likely had this game marked on his calendar since the preseason. He would love nothing more than to beat the Patriots, a team he had a great deal of success with, only to have a falling out with near the end of his tenure.
