APBrian Westbrook
Philadelphia Eagles running back Brian Westbrook, who was sidelined last week because of the effects of a concussion, is expected to play in Sunday's NFC East showdown against the Dallas Cowboys, coach Andy Reid said Wednesday.
Westbrook missed last week's blowout victory over the New York Giants. He was knocked unconscious after taking a knee to the head in the Eagles' 27-17 win over Washington on Oct. 26.
"Brian's OK," Reid said. "He'll practice [Wednesday], no symptoms. He should be fine."
In his career, Westbrook has averaged 4.1 yards per carry against the Cowboys with seven touchdowns. The teams are tied at 5-2 in the NFC East.
Westbrook has only 197 yards rushing this season. He didn't practice at all last week.
