At least Will Hill is being honest.
The New York Giants safety acknowledged today to the New York Daily News and other reporters, that the reason he's suspended for the first four games for violating the NFL substance-abuse policy because he tested positive for failing multiple drug tests for marijuana usage.
That's nothing new for Hill, apparently.
Hill was suspended for four games last October for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs, claiming that he had tested positive for Adderall.
Hill will be eligible to participate in all of training camp and preseason but will miss the first four games of the season – and will not be paid for the first four weeks.
Hill was undrafted following his college career at Florida and there reports of "rumors of drug use," in college and bizarrely inappropriate Twitter posts.
