The current Cleveland Browns regime gave up on Colt McCoy with the drafting of Brandon Weeden in the first round of last year's draft.

But now that regime looks to be on the way out the door, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, and the new regime that Jimmy Haslam and Joe Banner will bring in will have to make a decision as to whether Weeden can be the team's franchise quarterback or go back to the drawing board yet again at the most important position on the field.

According to the report, both Coach Pat Shurmur and GM Tom Heckert could be shown the door as early as Monday, a day after the regular season ends. Then, the fate of Weeden would be in the hands of a coach and general manager who didn't draft him and might be tempted to select their own quarterback in th draft or free agency.
