Former NFL GM has been linked to Browns' GM vacancy Aaron Wilson
Former Cleveland Browns general manager Ernie Accorsi denied reports that he's in line to become the new Browns GM following George Kokinis' ouster.
He told the Cleveland Plain Dealer that he's happily reired and hasn't been talking with owner Randy Lerner about a consultant job.
Back in January, Accorsi recommended New York Giants director of pro personnel Dave Gettleman to Lerner for the GM job that went to Kokinis.
"I am not taking any GM job anywhere. Period," Accorsi said. "I am not taking any full-time job. I serve the league office as a consultant. I have consulted in various areas with four NFL clubs the past two years."
The News-Herald reported that Accorsi had actually been hired as the new GM, which appears to be inaccurate.
