Iowa cornerback Amari Spievey created some buzz at the NFL scouting combine.
He ran the 40-yard dash in the 4.47 to 4.51 range, unofficial times.
According to a league source, the Atlanta Falcons consider the All-Big Ten cornerback to be a first-round talent.
Spievey was in demand in Indianapolis with 15 formal interviews, including the Oakland Raiders, Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Browns, Seattle Seahawks and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Spievey is competing with several cornerbacks for position in the NFL draft, including Domonique Franks, Kareem Jackson, Donovan Warren, Perrish Cox, Devin McCourty, Chris Cook and Jerome Murphy.
The 6-foot, 190-pounder intercepted six passes at Iowa before leaving after his junior season, but teams tended to avoid throwing to his side of the field.

If he gets drafted by Philadelphia his nickname will have to be Starship Eagle. Whatever team he gets drafted by I'm calling him Starship. Minnesota would be good because Starship Viking sounds really rad.
