In order to make room for newly-signed offensive guard Richie Incognito, the Buffalo Bills have released veteran tight end Joe Klopfenstein.
Klopfenstein has been off and on the Bills' roster this season.
Klopfenstein appeared in all 16 games, making 10 starts last year with St. Louis.
In his three-year career, he has played in 48 games making 37 starts and caught 33 passes for 386 yards and two touchdowns.
The 6-foot-5, 262-pound Colorado product originally entered the NFL as a second-round (46th overall) draft choice of the Rams in 2006.
