ORCHARD PARK, NY – The Buffalo Bills promoted cornerback Cary Harris to the active roster from the practice squad, the team announced.
Harris takes over the roster spot of linebacker Keith Ellison, who was placed on injured reserve.
The Bills also announced that LB Keith Ellison has been placed on injured reserve.
Harris has spent the previous 10 weeks on the Bills’ practice squad. He originally joined the team as a sixth-round draft selection this year from USC.
Harris made 34 starts for the Trojans. The 5-foot-11, 187-pound defensive back totaled 143 tackles including 7.5 stops for a loss in his collegiate career.
