The Buffalo Bills today promoted defensive lineman Corey Mace to the active roster from the practice squad, the team announced today.
Mace takes over the roster spot vacated when the team cut tight end Joe Klopfenstein.
Mace has spent the first 11 weeks of the season on the team’s practice squad. The 6-foot-3, 287-pound fomer Wyoming player originally joined the franchise as an undrafted free agent in May of 2007.
Mace spent portions of the 2007 and 2008 seasons on the Bills' practice squad. In 2008, Mace saw action in three games after being promoted to the 53-man roster last December.
