The Buffalo Bills signed free agent tight end Joe Klopfenstein today, the team announced.
Tight end Derek Fine was placed on injured reserve.
Klopfenstein started all 10 games last season St. Louis.
n his three-year career, he has played in 48 games with 37 starts and caught 33 passes for 386 yards and two touchdowns. The 6-foot-5, 262-pound Colorado product originally entered the NFL as a second-round pick with the Rams
The Bills signed offensive lineman Christian Gaddis to the practice squad and placed wide receiver C.J. Hawthorne on the practice squad/injured list.
