The Cincinnati Bengals have avoided a blackout for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs after receiving an extension from the NFL to sell more tickets.
This marks the 52nd consecutive sellout for the Bengals, and they got some help from a local television affiliate and Motorola to ensure that the game would be aired locally.
There are still tickets available, though.
The last Bengals blackout was on Nov. 9, 2003.
Although the Bengals haven't officially clinched a playoff berth, the team is beginning sales for a potential home playoff game tonight. Refunds will be available for any games not played.
