Porter had accused officials of giving special treatment to Patriots quarterback Aaron Wilson
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady said his football team was motivated by Miami Dolphins outside linebacker Joey Porter's critical remarks.

The Patriots' star said today that his team was fueled by Porter's comments, which included calling New England cheaters and saying that Brady is afforded special treatment by officials.
"It's really motivating for our team throughout the course of the week and into the game when you hear that kind of stuff," Brady said during his weekly WEEI radio spot. "I think the guys take it to heart and the coaches take it to heart."
Porter was completely shut out by the Patriots, failing to record a sack or a tackle.
"He's a great player, he's been a great player for a long time, but it's always great when you come out of the game and you understand that you kept one of their best players from [having] an impact on the game," Brady said following the game. "We have to see him again in four weeks, so I'm sure he'll be juiced up for that game. Hopefully we can go out there and perform the same way."
Porter didn't have much to say after the game, only conducting one brief interview where he acknowledged that the Patriots played well.
