Broncos wide receiver has been assigned first-round tender Aaron Wilson
Could Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall be leaving the AFC West and heading to the Pacific Northwest?
According to a league source, there's a strong rumor that Marshall is drawing significant interest to the Seahawks and new coach Pete Carroll.
Per our source, nothing is imminent as far as drawing up an offer sheet.
Marshall is a restricted free agent, but he was only assigned the first-round tender.
The Seahawks own two first-round draft picks, the sixth overall pick and the 14th overall selection.
The Broncos would have the opportunity to match any offer or receive a first-round pick as compensation.
Per two league sources, the Baltimore Ravens aren't expected to pursue Marshall.

They need some big play guy !! come on .... and we need a backup qb ill bet ya wallace is gone ..
Why would the Seahawks give up a #1 draft choice to get Marshall when they could use thier #1 pick to draft a wide receiver that is younger and less headaches? I could see a player trade or a lower draft pick or a combination of the two, but no way is Seattle going to part with their #1 for Marshall.
Marshall is 25 yrs old. Why spend top dollar on a rookie with no experience when you can lock down a top 5 NFL WR for 5 yrs who is only 25 yrs old? As a Seahawks fan this is a great deal. Then they use the #14 on another glaring hole, at a better price, and you avoid overpaying a rookie with such a monster contract inside the top 10. In round 2 you aim to fill another hole at an even better price, and all the sudden you have good talent without breaking the bank on a rookie.
Its a great move.

Carrols loves big wideouts, they were a staple part of the USC offense.
