Brian Brohm has left the Green Bay Packers' building, and their roster.

Brohm decided to sign a two-year contract with the Buffalo Bills on Wednesday night despite an offer to rejoin the Packers' active roster, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Brohm has been on the Packers' practice squad since being cut Sept. 5 heading into the regular season.

Per the report, Brohm was offered an identical deal to the one the Bills extended.

And the Packers had an opening after cutting wide receiver Jake Allen.

Brohm is a former second-round draft pick from Louisville who has struggled in the NFL following a prolific college career.

The Bills could offer him an opportunity to jumpstart his career with a fresh start on a team that currently has Ryan Fitzpatrick as its starter ahead of Trent Edwards.

Shanahan has his QB of the future in Buffalo.

It is a very interesting and intriguiing development. I have heard nothing but disappointing things about Brohm during this brief tenure in GB. I heard that at one time QB Matt Flynn, who I believe was a 7th round draft choice of GB, was ahead of Brohm on the Pack's depth chart. A two-year deal for Brohm? If that is the case, then someone has to be cut. Will it be a QB that is cut? I can't imagine the Bills having 4 QBs on their active roster.

What a waste of a 2nd round pick.

IMO, a big contributor to the current state of the Packers' O line were the draft picks of Brohm and Jordy Nelson. Those two picks should be starting on the offensive line right now.

Couldn't agree with you more Ruppert. Another one of Thompson's epic disastous draft picks. I wish Brohm good luck.

Abdul- Yes they were both drafted in the same year. Flynn was ahead of BB since preseason that year. I believe he has a sweating problem made it hard to grip the ball

Those of you who like to complain about picks were likely loving the pick of Brohm due to his success in college his (Junior) year in college. Had he entered the previous draft he would have likely been a high 1st rounder. As for he and Nelson being starting O-linemen, sure sounds nice but what O-linemen were drafted after them and what round?? Don't tell me some 7th round steal would have been great because everyone would have complained that he was drafted too high.
BTW Jordy Nelson is a good receiver.

Exactly what I was going to say, Brian. That guy is not a starting-caliber QB, and it won't take long for Buffalo to figure that out. I'm not sure he's even a decent backup.

I was a Packers training camp the last 2 years, numerous times. The kid has a monster arm, but lacks accuracy. Not NFL QB material. he also had absolutely no command of the huddle. Flynn fared much better, and that's why he is No. 2 QB now and Brohm was on the PS. In hindsight, not a good pick, but I remember that draft class back then, everybody loved Brohm and Pat Lee (CB) in the 2nd round back then, and called it a steal. So don't blame Ted T for that. Tehre are many things he should get blamed for, but not for that pick, or the Lee pick, who never did anything either due to injuries.

Faber, please refrain from calling me one of the sheep that follows Tightwad Ted. I HATED the Brohm pick. When Brohm was drafted, my first thought was, how is this playing over with Rodgers? By drafting Brohm, It was basically saying to Rodgers that if don't perform, we got your replacement right here.

As for the Nelson pick, I can pose this question: Is as good or better than DeSean Jackson? BTW I hated the Nelson pick also.
