Mitch Berger's tryout last week for the Denver Broncos must have been an impressive one.
The undefeated Broncos signed the punter today and cut punter Brett Kern.
It's the first roster move the Broncos have made this season since their final major roster cutdown to 53 players.
Berger is a two-time Pro Bowl selection who finished last season with the Super Bowl champion PIttsburgh Steelers.
He has a 43.0 career punting average, ranking fifth in the NFL since 1999 in gross (43.4) and net (36.6) averages.
