A pair of concussions have prompted the Cleveland Browns to rule out running back Jamal Lewis and safety Brodney Pool for Sunday.
The injury could precede Lewis being placed on injured reserve, ending his season and his career since he has already decided to retire after this year is over.
Lewis reportedly has a serious concussion with brain abnormalities detected on his MRI exam, per the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
And Pool, who has suffered repeated concussions, might be forced to consider giving up football.
