The San Diego Chargers promoted linebacker James Holt to the active roster from the practice squad.
Holt, who played collegiately at Kansas, takes over the roster spot created when wide receiver Chris Chambers was placed on waivers.
Chambers was claimed by the Kansas City Chiefs earlier today.
The Chargers signed linebacker Jeremy Leman to the practice squad.
UPDATE: The Chargers have revised their press release to note that they have not signed Leman to the practice squad.
