The San Diego Chargers tried out linebacker Marques Harris today, according to a league source.
Harris was originally signed by the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Utah in 2005.
A special-teams contributor and a situational pass rusher, Harris also had a stint with the San Francisco 49ers.
Signed in April, he was cut by the 49ers in October.
The 6-foot-1, 245-pounder has 87 career tackles, eight sacks and three forced fumbles.
