Wilson: Chiefs claim Chambers off waivers

Former Chargers receiver picked up Aaron Wilson

Starved for receiver depth, the Kansas City Chiefs claimed former San Diego Chargers wide receiver Chris Chambers off waivers today.

Chambers was cut by the Chargers on Monday.

He has caught just nine passes for 122 yards and one touchdown this season.

Traded to the Chargers from the Miami Dolphins in 2007, Chambers had a disappointing tenure with San Diego.

For his career, he has caught 482 passes for 6,287 yards and 53 touchdowns.
