The Kansas City Chiefs announced today that they have released linebackers Weston Dacus and Justin Rogers.
Today marked the first day that NFL teams could cut players.
Dacus spent last season on injured reserve with Kansas City. He saw duty in eight games for the Chiefs in 2008 after joining the club as a rookie free agent from Arkansas.
Rogers played in one contest for Kansas City last season The SMU product played in 31 contests with the Dallas Cowboys before joining the Chiefs.
