Veteran offensive lineman done for the season Aaron Wilson
The Kansas City Chiefs re-signed free agent linebacker Justin Rogers, the team announced today.
Rogers has been off and on the Chiefs' roster this season.
The veteran special-teams contributor played in 31 games in two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys in 2007 and 2008, producing three tackles and 34 special teams stops.
He also appeared in one postseason contest with the Cowboys. He ranked third on the Cowboys with 18 special teams tackles in 2008. He originally entered the NFL as a sixth-round draft pick (180th overall) of New England in 2007.
Rogers played in 43 games (33 starts) at SMU, tallying 184 tackles, 32.0 tackles for loss, five forced fumbles and a blocked kick.
Rogers takes over the roster spot of veteran offensive guard Mike Goff, who was placed on injured reserve today.
Goff played in eight games with seven starts at right guard this season.
