The Kansas City Chiefs signed veteran free agent defensive back Travis Daniels, the team announced today..
Daniels was cut by the Chiefs prior to the start of the regular season.
He has played in 51 games (26 starts) with Miami (2005-07) and Cleveland (2008). He owns 126 tackles (93 solo), three interceptions for 31 yards, 19 pass deflections and one fumble recovery.
Daniels originally entered the NFL as a fourth-round draft choice (104th overall) of the Dolphins in 2005.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs placed safety Jarrad Page on injured reserve on Wednesday.
Page has played in 53 career games (39 starts) with the Chiefs, producing 204 tackles (179 solo), a sack (-3.0 yards), 10 interceptions for 69 yards, 24 pass deflections, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and one quarterback pressure.
He also has17 special teams tackles. He entered the NFL as a seventh-round pick (228th overall) of Kansas City in 2006.
