The Kansas City Chiefs signed wide receiver Quentin Lawrence to the practice squad.
Lawrence was cut over the weekend to make room for wide receiver Lance Long.
Lawrence played in two games for the Chiefs this year, rushing one time for 16 yards and returning one kickoff for 17 yards.
The rookie sixth-round pick was drafted 175th overall out of McNeese State by the Chiefs in April.
Lawrence played in 37 games (32 starts) at McNeese State, catching 99 passes for 1,905 yards (19.2 avg.) with 15 touchdowns and returning 22 kickoffs for 419 yards (18.9 avg.). He also returned one punt for a 70-yard touchdown.
