The Kansas City Chiefs auditioned former Cincinnati Bengals first-round running back Chris Perry this week, according to a league source.
He wasn't immediately signed, though.
The Chiefs could probably use some depth at running back after cutting Larry Johnson.
Perry was drafted 26th overall by Cincinnati in the 2004 NFL draft after playing at Michigan.
Perry was cut by the Bengals in April.
He has rushed for 606 career yards and two touchdowns, catching 83 passes for 474 yards and two touchdowns
