Safety slated to make season debut Aaron Wilson
Former NFL Defensive Player of the Year Bob Sanders' season on the sidelines is about to end.
Sanders, who underwent offseason surgery to repair damage to his right knee, is slated to make his first appearance of the season on Sunday against the hapless St. Louis Rams.
Colts coach Jim Caldwell didn't guarantee that Sanders will play, but acknowledged that the hard-hitting safety is going to take part in the majority of the practices this week.
The two-time Pro Bowl selection told Indianapolis reporters that he's feeling good and intends to play.
Sanders has been injury prone, though, missing roughly half of his games since entering the NFL.
